On Wednesday, June 4th the Ring 50 meeting will start
at 7:00 PM. This will give us time to induct the new officers into Ring 50,
present a check to BIHS, and not take away time from Shoot Ogawa’s lecture.
Shoot was just
nominated for the Magic Castle AMA Magician Lecturer of the Year (he's
previously won close-up and parlor Magician of the Year the maximum number of
times) so you can be assured his lecture will be a memorable experience. His
lecture is new for 2014, besides his standard requests for the Ninja Rings, Thimbles,
and Coin Matrix, he will be presenting all new effects and routines that he
uses in his current close-up show that he previously hasn't revealed.
The lecture
will take place at Bishop Ireton High School, 201 Cambridge Rd, Alexandria, VA.
The lecture is free to Ring 50 members. All other magicians must pay a $15 fee.
