‘Street Magic’ on Tap for Nov 2

Join us for our monthly meeting of magic and watch or perform some "street magic"! Street magic will be any type of magic trick that you would perform while busking on the corner in Old Town Alexandria, Washington DC, or that you would see on TV by magicians such as David Blaine and Criss Angel. We need magicians performing no more than 5 minutes each.
If you wish to perform send an email to President@IBMRing50.Org.
See you at Hampton Inn and Suites in Alexandria (5821 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA) at 7:30 PM.

Counts of Conjuring  Begins Nov 2, 6:00 pm
The International Brotherhood of Magicians, National Capitol Ring 50, meets every month in Alexandria VA at 7:30pm and we have created a "youths version" that will meet prior to our regular meeting at 6:00pm. The "Counts of Conjuring" is a way for youths to learn about magic and the performance of magic.

For the next 8 months, Louis the Magician, will be teaching the Discover Magic course to the Counts of Conjuring! This is an amazing course that not only will teach the youths magic but will also teach them important "life-skills".  This class is normally taught in after-school programs and summer camps and costs $275 per child but will be FREE for the Counts of Conjuring (only cost is $35 for the actual magic tricks).
Each month the youths will learn one new magic trick and have a chance to perform it. We always meet the first Wednesday of every month at the Hampton Inn in Alexandria, 5821 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA.  The Counts of Conjuring is for youths 8 to 17 years.
November 2nd, 2016, 6:00pm
