Ring 50 does not meet in July to allow the members to
attend the conventions and vacations during the month. Hope to see many
of you at the combined IBM/SAM convention in Louisville Kentucky, July 12 -15.
Change in Venue
Ring 50 is changing its’
meeting venue beginning with the August 2nd meeting from the
present location to the Holiday Inn Alexandria – Carlyle, 2460 Eisenhower Ave,
Alexandria, VA. Meeting starts at 7:30 PM. Unlike the former place, the Holiday
Inn has a restaurant/bar and is more accessible to the Metro.

Lecture Slated for August 2 Meeting
Ring 50 meets August 2nd with a
lecture by Rich Marotta, the Comedian Who Does Magic. Rich has
appeared on numerous Television shows as a great magician well established in
the magic world. He has lectured on magic to his fellow magicians in in all
fifty states and over 20 countries. You can find his comedy and magic effects
for sale in every magic shop in the country.
The lecture is free to Ring 50 paid-up members. All
other magicians may attend the lecture for a $20 fee.
